This engraving site featured in many tourist guides to Sydney and is probably the best example of thoughtless disrespect of a sacred site in Sydney that exists. A road was built over the top of some other engravings whilst some others, documented and not, are present. Interestingly this whale had a man added to it's interior after the initial recording. This practice, whilst not common on the Central Coast, exists. Located in Ball's Head Drive, Ball's Head in Sydney. It is worth exploring the other rocks nearby for other engravings such as eels.
