Chevron Engraving
This large Chevron Engraving is similar to others found in Guringai Territory. This unusual engraving is located in deep bush about 200 metres from the end of the Manly Warringah Radio Control Airfield.

Whale or Shark Site, Garigal National Park

Large Whale or Shark

This large engraving of a whale or shark is approximately12 ft in length. It is similar to others found in several locations in  Kariong including one of a a dolphin. The engraving seems to have something in it's mouth. This is a fairly isolated engraving with few others to be found on an extremely large rockshelf north east of the Manly Warringah Amateur Radio Club. Interestingly there appears to be an engraving of a bull roarer close by. The site in in direct line of site with at least two other sacred sites across the valley(s) - one below the Bahai Temple and the other in Elanora Heights.
