Yep ...we are all still patiently waiting for the day when the people from world's oldest continuing culture, holding the same legal rights as a rock on a track before 1967, the traditional owners of this land, are at least acknowledged in the Constitution of Australia as part of the development of a treaty and edge closer to true reconciliation.

Man Site, Muogamara Nature Reserve

Man
This site consists of one figure is hidden away from the main man spearing and fishing site.

Ritual Spearing Site, Muogamara Nature Reserve

Ritual Spearing
This site is located on the RHS of the Muogamara main trail on a large tessellated platform. There are lots of scattered engravings.

Eroded Whale, Muogamara Nature Reserve

Small Wallaby or Kangaroo Rat
This small wallaby or kangaroo rat is significant in that it marks the mid point of the old eroded large whale at Muogamara. This is what WD Campbell recorded in 1899. Without this detail you wouldn't realise that an old engraved whale was present. This site is north east of the Manta Ray engraving.

Daramulan Scared Group, Muogamara Nature Reserve

Sacred Engraving
A very significant site in Muogamara Nature Reserve. This engraving group is very weathered and difficult to reach and see. A number of rare figures are present including a large group of men. This site is located further down the creek from the site with the Manta Ray.

Whale Site, Muogamara

Large Whale Site
This engraving site consists of a large whale, weathered wallaby and an ell. There are also several circles nearby. This site is adjacent to the main Muogamara Fire Trail about 20 minutes walk from the Pacific Highway.

Manta Ray, Muogamara

Large Manta Ray
This engraving site features a number of people, fish and a large manta ray. It is located a short distance from the large whale engraving beside the main Muogamara access trail. Another site is linked to this one and is a short distance further down the creek.

Man and Woman, Muogamara Nature Reserve

Man and Woman
This engraving site is often referred to as a sex site but might be a representation of birthing. Located on a very small platform on the western side of the main trail near the fork in the road and NSW NPWS Gate at Muogamara.

Muogamara Nature Reserve, Cowan

Daramulan 
This significant engraving site is accessed just off the main trail within the Muogamara Nature Reserve at Cowan. There are several groups of figures nearby. It has been suggested that this figure represents a koolewong (Koala) which is a possibility whilst some authors suggest Daramualn in the guise of a koala.
