Yep ...we are all still patiently waiting for the day when the people from world's oldest continuing culture, holding the same legal rights as a rock on a track before 1967, the traditional owners of this land, are at least acknowledged in the Constitution of Australia as part of the development of a treaty and edge closer to true reconciliation.

Axe Grooves, Quarry, Staples Lookout (West)


A series of axe grooves and other feint engravings are present on a series of rock platforms NNW of an old Quarry west of Staples Lookout.

Boomerang, Staples Lookout West


Directly opposite Staples Lookout is a smallish rock platform containing several old engravings. The feint outline of a non-returning boomerang is shown in this image. There are axe grooves nearby and a stingray-shaped figure. This rock platform has been "in-filled" with a layer of soil and plants over time.
