An engraving that appears as a large emu body on a large rock that may have been horizontally positioned before falling toward the creek can be found at Vinson Bay, Mount Kuringai.

Appears as an unusual pitted engraving at the bottom of a waterfall at Vinson Bay, Mount Kuringai. Looks like some initials pick-axed into the creek bed.

There are a number of rock platforms that are easily accessible from the Mundowi Street, Mount Kurringai are (Beaumont Trig region). This appears to be a shield with two horizontal transverse lines. It is located on the southern run-off area upon a large rock ledge that runs east-west. There are other engravings documented nearby.  Not that unusual to find an isolated shield - these sometimes point toward a men-only meeting place.

This engraving appears as an adult echidna. For a rock platform the size it is you might expect to see more engravings. BMX bike tracks dominate the surface. There is another smaller "baby" echidna nearby.

Shield or Mundoe, F3, South East of Mt Kuringai Sacred Site

Large engraving - appears as a shield or large mundoe.

A number of large number of rock engraving platforms are located within the "watershed" that existed prior to the construction of the F3 north east of the Sacred Mt Kuringai Site. These sites are accessible via a 200 metre walk south of Emergency Bay 438. There are several rock platforms that perhaps have been slowly destroyed through road works and natural erosion.

This site is hidden from road view and is located north of Mt Kuringai Station on the Pacific Highway. Baiame is present with two wives.
