Yep ...we are all still patiently waiting for the day when the people from world's oldest continuing culture, holding the same legal rights as a rock on a track before 1967, the traditional owners of this land, are at least acknowledged in the Constitution of Australia as part of the development of a treaty and edge closer to true reconciliation.

2 Emus, F3, Berowra






These two small emu engravings were saved from destruction at the time the F3 was constructed. They sit high on a cliff ledge to the east of the F3 Whale site that is in the middle of the F3 at Berowra,

Men's meeting place, Shark Rock Ridge Trail, Berowra





There are at least 14 figures engraved in this area. There are 4 shields and two koalas (Daramulan in the guise as one), a bullroarer, one man, a fish and bird. Originally recorded by WD Campbell in 1899.

Rare Engraving, Berowra

Very rare engraving 
This group of engravings is still in fairly good condition and is easily accessible from the end of Graham Close in Berowra. There are several engravings present on an extensive rock platform.

Berowra Waters, Berowra

Unusual Collection of Engravings
This collection of engravings are located on a vertical rock within a carpark north of the Berowra Waters Ferry.

Fish
This significant site is a short walk along the shoreline from the Berowra Waters Ferry. There is a cave with art (vandalised) and a shell midden nearby. Several engravings are visible - mostly fish.

Berowra Waters Road, Berowra

Daramulan
This site is easy to access being bounded by two sealed roads and flanked by several houses. The significant engraving, very large, is rapidly being covered by vegetation. There are other engravings on the platform that are not discernable. The presence of Daramulan is significant. Access via Currawong Rd and Berowra Waters Road, Berowra.

F3 Freeway, Berowra

Whales Site F3
Sacred and significant site saved from destruction. Large Whales, emus and several other engravings are located on top of a large rock in the middle of the F3 Freeway (Sydney-Newcastle). Easy access except for parking. Sadly graffiti and vandalism is still a problem.
