Man, Patonga

Man
This man and several other figures are scattered around a few rock platforms above Patonga. An emu  for example is in the middle of a trail some 90 metres away. A ceremonial man is hidden off the edge of another main platform. These engravings are near the large tessellated platform at the top of Patonga Hill and are accessed via a small fire trail on the southern side of the road.

Pair of Men, Patonga Cliffs

This group of engravings extends across the cliff ledge that drops to the Hawkesbury River above Patonga. Amongst the figures are men, goannas, and fish. Not for the feint hearted or those troubled by heights or Tiger Snakes. Access is view the old Patonga to Pearl Beach Fire Trail.

Elephant Rock, Warrah Trig, Patonga

Man
This engraved figure of a man is engraved on what is called Elephant Rock near Patonga. Whilst not recorded or mentioned in the original recordings this figure is significant among many others in the area that were not originally located. Elephant Rock was noted for having a simple "spider ant" type engraving - significant but not the only one. This site is located between the Warrah Trig Trail and Patonga Drive via a very narrow trail.
