There are about 5 or 6 mundoes present on the engraving platform that holds the emu and the torso-less man. Mundoes usually point and lead toward to the next sacred site. Each of these mundoes, however, points in a different direction. This is unusual as groups of mundoes usually tend to lead the visitor to the next site rather than point in different directions. One mundoe points in the direction of Woy Woy Tip with the other pair pointing toward the initiation site and Patonga.
Revisiting the Aboriginal Engravings of the Sydney / Hawkesbury Districts. 14 Blacks, 6 Tigers, 3 Death Adders, 8 Brown Snakes, one unidentified grey blue snake but no pythons ..... that would be about 42 serious reptiles for more than 511 engraving platforms and a few caves - INXS of 7636 engravings, still counting and still loving it!!!
Yep ...we are all still patiently waiting for the day when the people from world's oldest continuing culture, holding the same legal rights as a rock on a track before 1967, the traditional owners of this land, are at least acknowledged in the Constitution of Australia as part of the development of a treaty and edge closer to true reconciliation.

Emu, Rocky Ponds Track, Brisbane Waters National Park
This 4 1/2 foot emu is initially difficult to spot within the complex maze of earth-mover/trail grader lines that are present at this significant site. There has been some damage done to the Emu. A series of mundoes accompanies this engraving - these point in different directions. It is unusual to find an Emu so close to the ritual spearing/ punishment site. There are possibly may other engravings nearby that are hidden by the build up of silt and subsequent vegetation.

Ritual Payback Site, Rocky Ponds Track.
First located in 1899 by W.D.Campbell this site is another ritual payback site. Interesting the legs have no spear nearby but the right ankle seems to have a large battle club embedded in it. Located approximately 80 metres or so south of the Rocky Ponds Track.
Pair of Man's Legs (1) , Rocky Ponds Track
This pair of men's legs is to be found on a rock surface that spans the Rocky Ponds Track. The rock surface has been badly damaged. This type of engraving is quite rare and represents the sentence following tribal law. Unusually these are within 800 metres from an initiation site and 400 metres from another site with a similar set of legs. This set of legs was not previously recorded by W.D.Campbell in 1899.
