Yep ...we are all still patiently waiting for the day when the people from world's oldest continuing culture, holding the same legal rights as a rock on a track before 1967, the traditional owners of this land, are at least acknowledged in the Constitution of Australia as part of the development of a treaty and edge closer to true reconciliation.

Yep - we are all still waiting ....

Jibbon Head, Ulloola Falls

Baiame's Footprint
The Jibbon Head engraving site is easy to reach and once contained 90+ engravings placing it within the top ten engraving sites in the Sydney/Hawkesbury District. Disappointingly many of the engraving originally recored are no longer visible. The Baiame footprint (consistent with those  north of the harbour and Central Coast) is significant and seems to lead to another site across the bay. Well worth a visit in the right light after rain access is via Neil Street Bundeena. Walk to the headland via the beach and follow the signs. Be aware that there are two adjoining engraving platforms - the eastern one is hard to reach with the engravings covered in soils and other vegetation.
