Yep ...we are all still patiently waiting for the day when the people from world's oldest continuing culture, holding the same legal rights as a rock on a track before 1967, the traditional owners of this land, are at least acknowledged in the Constitution of Australia as part of the development of a treaty and edge closer to true reconciliation.

Destroyed Engraving, Calga Quarry boundary

Destroyed Engraving
This engraving was recorded by WD Campbell in 1899. It is within 2 metres of the Calga Rocla Quarry and has been damaged by leaking effluent from the quarry. It was described as a 15 inch mammal. It seems as though the quarry boundary fence has been moved at Some stage. The engraving seems to have been in the boundary at some point in time.
