Yep ...we are all still patiently waiting for the day when the people from world's oldest continuing culture, holding the same legal rights as a rock on a track before 1967, the traditional owners of this land, are at least acknowledged in the Constitution of Australia as part of the development of a treaty and edge closer to true reconciliation.

Devil's Rock, Maroota

Baiame
This site might best be described as a super sacred site. Not to be confused with Devil's Rock, Burragurra this site features Baiame (same engraved form as at Mt Kuringai and others) and Daramulan (same engraved form as some in Somersby)  as well as a number of other significant engravings e.g. an emu with a clutch of eggs. This engraving site is a long way from Somersby! Aceessible via Laughtondale Rd, Maroota.
