Yep ...we are all still patiently waiting for the day when the people from world's oldest continuing culture, holding the same legal rights as a rock on a track before 1967, the traditional owners of this land, are at least acknowledged in the Constitution of Australia as part of the development of a treaty and edge closer to true reconciliation.

Yep - we are all still waiting ....

Warrah Trig Track, Brisbane Water National Park

Whale Engraving Platform
The Warrah Trig area contains many engraving sites. This site is unique as it originally formed part of a cattle yard before being included in the National Park. This is a similar situation to some other sites such as the main hunting site at Wheeler's Creek in Cromer. In the case of this site, it is unfortunate that the cattle, over the years, have done some extreme damage to perhaps the southern-most location of a whale engraving on the Central Coast. The original stone arrangement, as recorded much much earlier, is still in place and probably holds great significance given the unusual tessellated section nearby where other stone arrangements are in place. There are several weathered engravings present - visible. There seems to be some extremely large cave within a large depression about 1 -1 1/2 ams to the south. This site is located about 200 metres east off the Warrah Trig Track about 250 metres from Patonga Rd.
