Yep ...we are all still patiently waiting for the day when the people from world's oldest continuing culture, holding the same legal rights as a rock on a track before 1967, the traditional owners of this land, are at least acknowledged in the Constitution of Australia as part of the development of a treaty and edge closer to true reconciliation.

Large 4 Toed Mundoe, Chiltern Road, Ingelside


Large 4 Toed Mundoe
There are many old weathered engravings to be found on several rocky outcrops due west of the end of Chiltern Road. This is not an easy to reach engraving platform - no trails in or out - straight bush bash and not for those who are not experienced in this form of bushwalking. This mundoe appears to be pointing toward the West Head area - Elvina Track direction. It is unusual to find a single mundoe such as this as they tend to be in pairs and located in sacred areas.
