Yep ...we are all still patiently waiting for the day when the people from world's oldest continuing culture, holding the same legal rights as a rock on a track before 1967, the traditional owners of this land, are at least acknowledged in the Constitution of Australia as part of the development of a treaty and edge closer to true reconciliation.

Snake or Eel, Peats Ridge Road, Calga

Looks more like a Tiger Snake

This engraving site is not far from the entrance to the Calga Sand Quarry and is visible from the roadway. There are no other engravings on the rock. Appearance is similar to the Death Adder in Somersby Industrial Area but also looks similar to a narrow banded-eel ... more likely a tiger snake - very rare ! Within 100 metres of the entrance to the quarry.
