Yep ...we are all still patiently waiting for the day when the people from world's oldest continuing culture, holding the same legal rights as a rock on a track before 1967, the traditional owners of this land, are at least acknowledged in the Constitution of Australia as part of the development of a treaty and edge closer to true reconciliation.

Very Small 3 toed Mundoe, Strickland State Forest, Narara


Rare 3 toed mundoe situated on a small rock platform

This engraving site is located west of Mangrove Road, Narara in Strickland State Forest. This is the smallest 3 toed mundoe I have seen and appears to be legitimate despite nearby carved graffiti. It appears pitted which is unusual. This type of mundoe ordinarily points toward the next sacred site which maybe the site that is partially destroyed by the Energy Australia access trail on the east side of Mangrove Road. This type of engraving is normally found in pairs in this area.
