This engraving platform is in very poor condition despite attempts from NSW NPWS to prevent trail bikes entering the area. This site once containing several stone arrangements and some oval-like engravings. What is visible within one of the circular-like engravings is the figure of a stingray. Nearby there are some axe-groove type engravings that may be part of a larger fractured engraving. This site is located to the north of the road running from Umina to Patonga.
Revisiting the Aboriginal Engravings of the Sydney / Hawkesbury Districts. 14 Blacks, 6 Tigers, 3 Death Adders, 8 Brown Snakes, one unidentified grey blue snake but no pythons ..... that would be about 42 serious reptiles for more than 511 engraving platforms and a few caves - INXS of 7636 engravings, still counting and still loving it!!!
